Each piece of Sia’s work starts with a sheet of gold and scrupulous hand cutting of each gold element. Sensations such as the flick­er of sun falling through leaves, dust danc­ing in columns of light and the brush of wind on grasses are inspirations for Sia’s jewelry. She describes her work as ‘qui­et moments that are trans­formed into poet­ic jew­elery shim­mer­ing with move­ment, the soul of each piece spoken in a language of rainbow golds.’
