What makes Von Bargen’s different?

Do you have physical stores?

Yes—we have multiple locations in Vermont and New Hampshire where you can experience our collections in person and work one-on-one with our jewelry specialists. View Our Stores.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are always welcome, but we recommend booking an appointment for personalized service—especially for bridal, custom design, or consultations.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes. We offer virtual consultations so you can explore pieces, ask questions, and work with our team from anywhere.

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

Yes. We are committed to responsible sourcing and only work with trusted partners who adhere to strict ethical standards.

Can I design a custom engagement ring?

Absolutely. Custom design is one of our specialties. We’ll guide you from inspiration through final creation, ensuring your ring is one-of-a-kind.

How long does a custom ring take?

Most custom pieces take 4–6 weeks, depending on complexity. We’ll provide a clear timeline during your consultation.

Jewelry Care & Services

Do you offer cleaning and repairs?

Yes. We provide professional cleaning, inspections, and repairs to keep your jewelry looking its best.

How often should I have my jewelry checked?

We recommend having your jewelry inspected every 6–12 months, especially for pieces worn daily.

Can rings be resized?

Most rings can be resized. Our team will evaluate your piece and recommend the best approach.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes. We offer secure, insured shipping for online purchases.

How long does shipping take?

In-stock items typically ship within a few business days. Custom or special-order pieces may take longer—we’ll communicate timelines clearly.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping is free.

Do you ship overseas?

Not at this time.

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Please contact us or full details, as policies may vary by item type:

General Return Policy

* Returns allowed up to 20 Days
* Full Refund for items returned within 14 days
* Store credit only for items returned after 14 days
* Shipping and Handling are non-refundable
* Custom or special orders are non-refundable
* Any item that is not in-stock is a special order
* Any item marked final sale is not returnable
* Estate and Sale Jewelry are final sale are not returnable

Holiday Return Policy: Items purchased between November 15th through December 25th enjoy an extended return period and may be brought back through January 10th. All other elements of the return policy apply.

You may return any in-stock item for a full refund within fourteen days from the day you receive your item.

Any item returned must not be worn, scratched, custom sized or engraved. Von Bargen’s may, at it’s discretion, accept returns outside these parameters, but a restocking fee will be applied.

Special order purchases are not returnable. Deposits on layaways or special orders are non-refundable and can only be used as a store credit.

Please mail your item(s) back to Von Bargen’s insured and for security purposes do not write jewelry anywhere on the package, specifically in our name.
