Description
Sterling silver and 24 karat gold ‘vario’ clasp designed and hand made by Atelier Zobel, Peter Schmid. It is a cylindrical piece. The clasp features round brilliant cut diamonds that have a color grade of ‘top light brown’ and a clarity grade of VS1. The base of the clasp is blackened sterling silver. Pure, 24 karat gold wire has been laid over the silver in a long curved pattern. In addition, many pieces of pure 24 karat gold are fused into the silver. Each end of the clasp is equipped with the receiving end of a ‘vario key’ so that the mechanism may be used with pearls or a chain. The style number is 181.783.
